I love horror movies. There's something about them that is unsettling yet entertaining. I guess that's why horror movies are so popular and directors have been doing them since the late 1890's, when Georges Meliés filmed The Haunted Castle, that is considered the first horror movie ever. Horror movies usually take a lot of work, time and money, and some scenes look like a magician's trick. We gathered fifty rare photos of your favorite horror movies when the camera was off, to show you some of their secrets, and a few facts that you probably didn't know about how those movies were made.
